What Makes It Awesome?

ASEAN ON THE EDGE, If you are Bangalorean, you definitely would have been to 13th Floor and Ebony. ASEAN is from the same Owners and is one of the first places in Bangalore to introduce Southeast Asian food.

The ambiance is very cozy and has beautiful open space which gives the view of Bangalore from the center of the city. It is located right in the heart of the city in Barton Center. It can accommodate around 50 people max at full capacity

They do serve alcoholic drinks, the bar is shared with Ebony and the bartender has magic and whipped us some great Cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Cocktails Tried
Porn Star Martini
Rosemary Gin & Tonic
Penicillin
Lavender Poloma

Salad
Vietnamese Pomelo Salad: Loved the pomelo fruit with shredded carrots, sprouts, and crunchy shallots and green lime over the mixed green, It was burst of citric and tanginess with sweetness in the mouth. Must-Try, loved it.

Starters
•Tofu Mushroom Broccoli Satay: Cooked in spicy peanut marinate. To be honest, I am not a great fan of Tofu but I truly loved and enjoyed the dish and it exactly changed my perception of tofu
•Nonya Crunchy Soft Shell Crab: This is something very unique and never had tried it. Loved the crunchiness of the shell and be too honest it was not at all messy affair of eating crab!!! Loved It and a MUST TRY!
•ASEAN Signature Spare Ribs: Streamed, grilled and wok tossed in ginger wine, star anise, and sesame sticky sauce. Loved the tingly bit of sweetness, pork so well marinated with spices just perfectly cooked.

Main Course
•Malacca Curry with Roti Jala: It is one of the famous street food in Malaysian prepared during Ramzaan, loved the crispy lacy crepes and coconut curry. Fell in love with the presentation! Must Try 😊
• Nasi Lemak Chicken: Malaysian hawker stall classic, coconut, and pandan flavoured rice with Chicken Rendang. Presentation top-notch!

Desserts:
• Tub Tim Krob
• Kafir Lime Lemon Tart
• Japanese Cheesecake

Loved all the desserts, my personal favorite was Tub Tim Krob!

Service was top-notch, Staff was so passionate and knowledgeable, they ensured that we had a great time.
I would visit this place again and again for their food, service, and ambiance.
