What’s Happening

Do you have an eye for unique home decor pieces and antique jewellery? Bengaluru Utsava is a heaven for all you flea-market fiends. From beautiful apparels and home decor artefacts to good food and artisan performances, you’ll find it all at this lifestyle exhibition.

The exhibition starts from 19 May and is on till 28 May from 11 AM to 7 PM. There are more than a hundred shopping stalls set up by exhibitors across India along with special performances by artists on the weekends. These performances include a magic show on 20 May at 5 PM and a String Puppet Show on 21 May at 5 PM. On the weekend after, on 27 May, there’s an interesting Shadow Show that starts at 5:30 PM and you can end the weekend watching a banging performance by a fantastic Chenda Melam Folk Band from Kerala on 28 May 5 PM onwards. We’re sure you’ll find yourself grooving to their classical beats!

How’s The Venue

The Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath campus on Kumar Krupa Road (popularly known as CKP) is just a seven minute drive away from Sampige Road metro station. It has a gallery and a museum inside. The Benguluru Utsava will be taking place at the gallery and the entry is absolutely free! The museum inside has permanent displays of paintings and crafts that you can check out!
