When it comes to food trucks in the city, there really is enough to spoil you for choice, offering everything from ice creams to French food. Just when you thought you had seen it all, here’s another to add to your must-try list. Almost a month since they rolled into town, AutoExpress {a Hyderabad-based food truck} has a menu that’s devoted to hot dogs with Indian flavours. True to their name, they go around town in an autorickshaw that’s hard to miss with a catchy red and white design.
On The Menu
Offering six-inch hot dogs and mini hot dog boxes {which gives you three three smaller versions}, AutoExpress takes the snack up a notch with their choice of sauces prepared in-house. Pick Rebel if you want the good old mustard sauce, but with a twist. While Insane with its red chilli-based mayo sounds perfect for when you’re craving for something spicy, Brat gives you a winning combination of ketchup and mayo. We’re hoping to try Tripper, a mix of tamarind and black salt, giving a tangy twist to the classic hot dogs.
