What Makes It Awesome?

Ushering the concept of Avant-garde in Bangalore, Fava Bistro has experimented with its dishes, giving them both an appealing display as well as a satiating taste.

The cafe is quite well decorated with a hint of Mediterranean decor, providing you with a vibe of a chilled-out place, the ones where you can hang out with your buddies on lazy noon.

We tried two of its flagship desserts, the Open Baklava and the Orange. As expected, both the dishes were plated quite artistically. In terms of taste, the Baklava was a little too syrupy, which would be a treat for the ones with a sweet tooth. Another quite popular dessert of the bistro is the Orange, which was a delightful surprise to us. Plated beautifully, with a filling of Mascarpone cheese and apricot, this was a really innovative take on Mediterranean desserts but it didn't taste good to our palate somehow. Maybe mascarpone was not fresh to the mark.

We also had two of their special beer-based cocktails, Mimosa and Sangria. Quite smooth, to say the least. Complemented well with the desserts, the drinks fueled to a delightful cosy afternoon.

We would definitely want to come back to try out their other items.
