Party goers and pub hoppers, you're in for some great news - the deadline for pubs and bars in the city might just be extended to 1am, throughout the week!
It's Party Time
Longing to party or guzzle all night but the weekend is nowhere in sight? If all goes well, you won't have to wait too long for that! Following a recent renewed order that allowed hotels, restaurants and eateries to remain open till 1am, the Excise Minister, SY Meti has already approved a proposal for pubs and bars to also have the same timings, all through the week. No more hurrying back by 11.30pm, folks! All that's remaining for this rule to be enforced is the final nod from the Chief Minister. We're keeping our fingers crossed and already planning a weeknight party in our heads! And all because the city 'behaved well' apparently!
