Back for the fourth time in a row, the Bangalore Food Fete is supposedly the city’s biggest food festival and comes to town only once a year. So to make each visit count, they dial it up and make it a mega celebration, bigger than the previous time, every year. We’re talking live performances, comedy shows, cook-offs, a Zumbathon and of course, truckloads of food. Literally! As there’ll be plenty of food trucks, along with 100 food stalls that will also mark their attendance at the fest. Happening this April, at the KTPO trade centre, you need to clear your calendars for this.
Foodies Ahoy! There's A Mega Food Carnival On Its Way With A 100 Stalls And You Can't Miss It
What Is It?
Who Is It For?
This is for everyone! Although food lovers, binge eaters and down right gluttons must definitely book their spots right away, anyone who’s in for a good time must also make their way down to the fete. With so much going on at the festival, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Why Should I Go For It?
It’s a food carnival! Why wouldn’t you want to go? Being one of the biggest food festivals in the country, you ought to check it out. Apart from the obvious reasons to go {ahem, a 100 food stalls}, there’s more to this food fest than just the food. They’ll be holding their regular Gourmet Chef challenge, which is their take on MasterChef, where you put your culinary skills to the test and battle it out with your fellow contestants. In fact, this year will see a Gourmet Chef Junior competition as well, where the kiddos will get a chance to whip up something in the kitchen.
Plus, they’ll be having a Zumbathon this year, the city’s biggest in fact, which will be a great way to burn all those calories you piled on at the stalls. And they’re also planning to set up the city’s largest salsa and bachata platform too, so don’t forget those dancing shoes. There’ll be live musical acts and stand-up comedy shows to make sure there isn’t a dull moment throughout the day, in case you just want to eat, and do nothing else! See you there.
