Karnataka Goes Into Full "Curfew" From April 27, For Two Weeks

The Karnataka government has announced that Bangalore will go into a complete lockdown, officially called a Covid Curfew, starting from April 27, 9pm, for two weeks. According to The News Minute, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced that the entire state including Bangalore will have a full lockdown, in an attempt to curb the spread of Covid19. The state recorded a high of 34,000 COVID-19 positive cases on a day on Sunday. 

Essential services will be available between 6am and 10am daily, the CM said. Thus far, delivery of alcohol is also permitted. Travel within and outside of the state will not be allowed.
