Edge has opened up very recently in Whitefield, and it claims to be one-of-a-kind. I was there on the last Saturday and I cannot agree more on what Edge claims to be. The interiors have been very nicely done. It has both outdoor and indoor seatings, with plush sofas, high chairs and minimalistic decor elements this place is aesthetically so pleasing.
It offers a really nice experience with their super delicious food and crafty cocktails which are not just their signature but touted to be Bengaluru's only. Their exclusive food menu has been specially curated from various parts of the world, and they have mentioned the origin in the menu as well. Also, they are proud of the unique serve ware they have handpicked for each of their drinks and dishes. They just know the perfect art of infusion.
From their absolutely huge menu spread, my favourites have to be:
* Liquid Sunlight - Super refreshing cocktail with turmeric-infused gin, jasmine tea, eucalyptus honey and maracuja.
* Bowl of Happiness - If you love your cocktail sweet, and you don't mind the quantity, or you're with a huge bunch, this one should be on your list to try.
* Hibiscus Champagne - It looks so vibrant in colour and is a very soothing mocktail.
* Litti Chokha - If Litti Chokha is your thing, just try it over here. It would change your whole definition of litti chokha. Trust me, when I say that.
* Basil Chicken Bao - The aroma of basil in chicken bao accompanied with peanut sauce was a nice combination.
* Togarashi Chicken Stick - Its a Japanese originated recipe and tasted just right with the tender chicken wrapped up in crispy wonton.
* Veg. Siu Mai - Corn and Spinach stuffed dim sum served with peanut sauce. Dimsum lovers, anyone?
They have really put in a lot of efforts and details in making our dine and wine experience awesome. So rush in right there, any time any day, and if you do love the place as I did, let me know.
