What Makes It Awesome

An old colonial-style bungalow that's been converted into a hostel, this one is located at the foothills of Chamundi Hills. Rooms are either private or dorms. If you are travelling solo, pick mixed dorms for that true-blue backpacking experience. Your bunkmate could be the travel buddy you were looking for. If you are spending the weekend here, we'd recommend you carry trekking shoes as the trek up Chamundi Hills is fun and the view from the top  is picturesque. Don't worry about network issues or posting your adventure on Instagram, the hostel has free WiFi to sort you out. Come evenings, spread out a blanket and watch the Mysore Palace lighting up the sky in the distance.

We love the French windows of the hostel/home, that is perfect to curl up next to and read a book. Since there is a large garden, feel free to take your lounging outside. Or even grab a mat and do yoga.

ProTip

If you are exploring the town, the front desk can arrange for taxis and bicycles for hire.
