The Bengaluru International Film Festival {BIFFES} is all set to kick off this month for its 10th edition. Organised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra {Film} Academy, this will be an eight-day celebration of regional, Asian and world cinema. What we love about BIFFES is that we always get to see indie films we might’ve otherwise missed. No commercial nonsense here {Film snobs, are you listening?}.
Film Geeks! The Bengaluru International Film Festival Is Back In Town
What Is It?
Who Is It For?
For any film lover, this will be a real treat. Get to watch over a 100 new films across genres and themes from some of the most talented filmmakers and creators in the business. Plus, you’ll be able to catch filmmaking and film appreciation seminars, workshops and master classes too.
Why Should I Go For It?
Now’s your chance to catch the best cinema the world has produced over the last year. We can’t wait to catch screenings of films like The Square, a Swedish satire, and Russian film Loveless, which is a charged drama. This is also a great way to check out the local talent and explore Karnataka’s vibrant indie film scene. We’re still in the dark of where the screenings will happen and their timings, but all that info shall be revealed very soon. So stay tuned.
