What Is It?

People For Cattle in India {PFCI, an NGO by animal lovers to promote animal welfare}, has the fourth edition of their adoption drive - Bengaluru Opts to Adopt - this month. An initiative that facilitates adoption of rescued pets, the drive will have around 29 dogs and cats looking for safe and happy homes. Described as a comprehensive campaign, it will provide medical, legal, pet boarding and concessional support to lend a helping hand to pet parents.

Who Is It For?

Always wanted to have a pet? This is probably a great opportunity to give a much needed home to a rescued dog or cat. Of course, you'll have to be prepared to go the extra mile for its care. Anything for a BFF though, right?

Why Should I Go For It?

A tribute to abuse and abandonment victims, this one's more special than usual. It also supports the No More 50 campaign {to increase the current penalty amount of INR 50 for prevention of cruelty to animals}. In an attempt to help pet parents, the canines and felines adopted from the drive get concessions and privileges from partner brands like Cessna Lifeline, Petspace and Canine Cuisine. Free sessions and talks are also on the cards, we hear.
