Ten-second takeaway
Organised under the banner of the Bengaluru Pride & Karnataka Queer Habba 2015, the festivities this year include a sports day, a marathon, a street play, and a flash mob.
The programme of events spans the next two months, and culminates in the Pride March on November 22. We're pretty stoked, given that previous editions looked like one kick-ass party:
They've already held a couple of events, including a queer quiz and a panel discussion with the veterans of Bangalore queer activism. It's not only fun and games, though: there's also a confidential meeting group for HIV-positive individuals, support groups for families and friends of queer people, and more.

The Bangalore Queer Film Festival has also announced a call for entries. So if you're a filmmaker, or you know someone who is, and you know of a queer-themed film, head to their submission form here.‘Tis the season for queer festivities in the city!
