Till the time the newly-opened Bieregarten in Whitefield gets its beer on tap, regular cocktails and the generous food menu will have to do.

The Bieregarten is huge. In fact, it is a really big space with plenty of al fresco seating and chilling {we spied comfy sofas} options. The place is done up in green, white and grey with a landscaped garden, dedicated bar and nice upstairs section too. The menu comprises regular cocktails, wines and other alcohol, and the food is divided into bar nibbles {onion rings, wedges, Vietnamese rolls, Yakitori skewers, the works} to go with the alcohol, along with burgers, pizza, pasta, dim sum, and mains with an Asian and European touch. Plus, desserts. We also spotted platters on the menu that you could order with your alcohol. So until these guys get their beer ready and flowing {expect that to happen by the first week of September}, we will head here to check out the ambience and the food.
