Organised by the Bengaluru Biryani Club {if you don’t know about it, read here}, this is a biryani walk that is basically designed to take you to some of the iconic biryani places in and around Bangalore. This time around, the destination is the ever popular Shivaji Military Hotel that’s known for their donne biryani and a limited selection of greasy meat dishes.

If biryani is bae for you and you have made it your life’s mission to eat at least one biryani a week, then this event is for you. Not only will your weekly quota of biryani be satisfied but you will also meet people who love aloo in their biryani, claim that vegetable biryani is not a myth, and know the difference between a donne and dum biryani. Basically, you will people who you can share {or not} your next biryani with.

Shivaji Military Hotel is famous for its always crowded ambience and this walk being a curated event, expect no waiting in the line or watching others eat the pulav before your hungry eyes. And since there’s a lot of enthu-biryanis {enthu-cutlets are so last year} expected to come that day, there’s no better feeling than being part of a community biryani lunch. We suggest you keep an eye on the rasam and pachadi served with your biryani if you don’t want it to go missing. Oh, and be sure to pack a huge appetite as well.
