Be it for a business lunch on weekdays, or a rollicking party on weekends, The Black Rabbit is possibly Indiranagar’s most happening place.

Amazing vibes on weekends, which will have you dancing all night. Good food all week, is a bonus.
Lowdown On Ambience
Chic and modern, this two-floor restaurant meets night club, is minimalist with wooden furniture. A large community table dominates the bottom floor with pretty picnic tables lining the walls and the small outside area while the top has sofas, and the DJ console. What we adore here are the snazzy lamp shades, so make sure to look up, at least once. During the day music is light, but when it’s party time on weekends, then forget about not dancing – you won’t have a choice.
Let me be honest, I don’t think Black Rabbit really comes to mind when you want to go to a restaurant. But that’s because people are so used to the great parties they have on weekends, that it’s hard to imagine it without the sea of bouncing people. But really, the food is great too. Our favourite to start with is the Poutine – a Canadian dish similar to fries loaded with cheese. Fireball Chicken Wings, with a pungent Blue Cheese and ranch is also delicious while I confess I never leave without some over-indulgent Cheese And Bacon Bombs paired with chilli relish. Of course, it is all made better with the potent whiskey, basil dust and cranberry juice. Or something more chic? How about the Blood Orange Mimosa with sparkling wine at the core?
Burgers here are highly recommended and I usually forget my fitness regime here. How can one say no to the house-special Big Nasty Burger which comes with a double patty, bacon, cheddar and caramelised onions. Oh, and fries! So good. The Jack Daniel’s version is smaller, but with the hint of whiskey in it, we may even like it a tad more even! Roast Chicken is done authentically here. Marinated in fresh rosemary, served with herbed potatoes and a spot-on onion gravy, it’s a perfect throwback to life in London. Fish & Chips, salmon in lemon butter sauce and pork belly ribs are winners too.
So, We’re Thinking…
Great for a business lunch if you’re looking to impress with address and menu, Black Rabbit is also lovely for post work drinks. As for weekends, we’ll see you on the ground floor, bar side, for a dance off.
