Bubble Tea, Pearl milk tea, or Boba tea is a Taiwanese based drink that can be drank hot or cold. Containing tea, a milk or juice base, sugar, and toppings (including tapioca pearls, basil seeds, popping pearls, agar, fruit and grass jelly), you can get your drink based on your preference at Bobacha.
The trending drink has taken the world by storm, and you can get yourself one on the third floor of Park Square Mall. It might be all the way in ITPB, but if you’re from around there, it’s great for when you’re waiting for a friend, a quick break from the office, or post a Taco Bell binge. With two size options to choose from, regular (350ml) and large (500 ml), the stall means business as they have 12 fruit bases and 9 milk bases with 9 types of toppings to choose from. We played it safe and ordered the Taro (purple yam) milk tea with classic tapioca pearls, and a passion fruit tea with strawberry popping boba and we were not disappointed! Prices start at INR 250 (a bit pricey side, but it’s worth a try).
If the mixed textures don’t float your boat, you can always try out their classic oreo shake, blended cold coffees (we recommend the caramel toffee), or something from their smoothie menu. You could also try out their fruit based tea without toppings if you’re looking for something lighter.
