The iconic sweets and mithai shop, by the makers of The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro, are now online on Amazon and on their own official website. It's like a proper candy land online! There’s the Bombay's 3-Layer Chocolate Fudge, Toffee Butterscotch Cookies, Indian Jujubes, Bombay Bhel Chikki, Khasta Kachori and their Chilli Cheese Bhujiya to order. And I’ve already ordered their divine Chocolate Butterscotch Barks!
For those of you who have been living under a rock, then Bombay Sweet Shop is all about reimagining and reinventing Indian sweets. This is old fashioned sweetness in a whole new avatar that includes handmade and preservative-free sweets and savouries.
While they have plenty on offer, a few must-haves are the crunchy, sweet and savoury Bombay Bhel Chikki, cookies inspired by the grand nankhatai, mini dry kachoris, Chatpata Kairi Mixture, with corn flakes, roasted peanuts, cashews, puffed rice and besan namkeen flavoured with kachi kairi.
