What Makes It Awesome

A western and contemporary store based out of Bangalore, Bouclé by Tania George is a homegrown brand. Having created two collections, one affordable and the other luxury, you can choose from the variety of clothing found here. Pants, dresses, shirts, coats, shrugs and tops are the products you can purchase. Playing around with fabrics and silhouettes, you can choose from stripes, Japanese crane prints and even cactus motifs. With the intent of being a sustainable brand, the founder mostly works with natural fabrics. The non-natural fabrics used are scraps from factories that are later upcycled into clothing.

With limited editions only, know that you will be one of the very few people to own the piece that you buy from here. The store on Ibrahim Sahib Street in Bangalore is a design lab where you can go to get your clothes customised or even upcycled (maybe your mum’s old saree that you’ve been meaning to make a dress). They have a limited collection of their in-house brand since most of their stuff is available online and other multi-designer stores in Bangalore and Goa. With the affordable pret starting at INR 1,200 onwards and their luxury pret starting at INR 4,000 onwards, we think this is definitely a brand you should check out (especially if you love western and indie clothing).

Pro-Tip

The brand sells its clothes via it’s online platform and at multi-designer stores. We suggest buying from them online since they have a limited collection at their design lab. However, if you’re looking to get alterations done to the pieces you have bought online, head to their Ibrahim Sahib Street outlet.
