Ashwathy Philip, faced similar troubles when she was looking for pretty bows for her toddler. Tired of not finding any and having to import almost always, she decided to make her own and Knotted Llama was born.
With this IG brand Ashwathy aims to give bows and bowties cute and trendy spins with her use of different fabrics and colours. These collections also embody various moods. For instance the white jute and grey linen pinwheel bows are minimal (perfect for everyday) while the ones in bright hues of blue, pink and orange scream playful! We're crushing on the Indian Prints collection -- hand tied pinwheel bows in floral block print kalamkari, indigo and ajrakh, and the Sunkissed Ribbon collection -- dainty looking organza and lace ribbon bows in polka dot and floral designs.
Knotted Llama also has dapper looking bowties made with cotton and in double colours. Navy blues, teals, burnt reds and oranges, the colours are striking. Ashwathy also states that adults really love her collection too and we can see why! These bows and bowties can easily be sported by seniors too. Knotted Llama is working on making bibs too. They also have gorgeous crochet baby bows and headbands (classic bows to retro top knots) made in collaboration with Topsy Turvy Crochet.
