This Bra Brand Is Like Your BFF — Strong, Supportive, Pretty & Worth Showing Off

One of our latest favourites, Nykd By Nykaa has a growing list of options in their lingerie section. While we have only tried two of their offerings, we’re already quite happy with the fit and style. They currently have strapless, wireless, textured lace bras and lace bikini bottoms too. They also stock pyjamas, activewear and a few lounge wear tees. 

I got this t-shirt bra as well as the wire-free shaping bra. Of the two, my pick is the wire-free shaping bra, simply because I’m used to sports bras and this one is more…flexible! It also is ¾ coverage which I personally prefer. So, if you’re looking for a light bra, with great support this one’s for you. I also like that the U at the back is quite deep, and will work for fairly deep necklines. 

I gave the t-shirt bra a spin on about five different occasions, and with different kinds of outfits. It supports you well with a bit of brisk walking too. And girls who’re heavier on the top know what I mean. Walking quickly to a meeting is cardio for some! With t-shirts and kurtis, it works very well and the top falls nicely over the bra. If you’re wearing a saree blouse, it’s not ideal as it’s not as malleable. Plus, the bands are quite thick so with a strappy blouse, it’s not the best match. I also found the material a bit thick and while I live in a breezy Bangalore, seaside town, and those in cities may have a little bit of an issue with it becoming quickly soaked with sweat. 

What I really appreciate about Nykd By Nykaa is that they have sizes going up to 44E and start at 32D which some brands don’t have. We’d love to see a few more 32E and Fs, but they have plenty of 34 options if you don’t mind a little bit of compromise. Women who are looking for minimisers, they’ve got some pretty solid looking ones. Check out the cute panties and briefs as well. Strapless bras and maternity ones are also on offer over at Nykd by Nykaa. Don't expect extra fancy stuff here though. This is ideal for your daily wear, and throws in prints and colours to add jazz to your lingerie but may not be your sexy set. For that, check out these brands like Victoria's Secret.
