The sleepy lanes of Jayanagar 4th Block will be staying up late once the craft beer starts brewing at Brew Meister. For now, enjoy the open-air setting and the good grub.

Three Times The Fun

In what is a multi-level setting, three floors of seating are what makes up Brew Meister. Starting with the third floor, you’ve a small indoor seating by the brewing equipment and an al fresco seating, and we are thinking that the space is more apt for them fam-jam nights. Up the stairs and onto the fourth floor, you are welcomed by a massive semi-open area and that typical South Bangalore breeze.

The wooden-floored space constitutes of the main bar in the centre with an outdoor seating to your left and a semi-open area to the right. The right side, the one with the super comfortable couches and long tables that could seat large groups at a time, are more for those long nights of fun drinking, catching up, and basically making merry. Love that cool breeze while sipping a pint? The outdoor seating is where you need to be then. Long winding tall tables and stools, cushioned chairs, and tables by the ledge are what make up the space.

What's Cooking?

Plenty of North Indian, Continental, finger food, and American fare is what’s on the menu and coming out of the kitchen. You could start off like how we did with the Street Style Shots which is basically pani puri served with 6 different flavoured panis. The winning bit apart from the flavour is that it’s served on a mini cart. The starter menu is filled with all sorts of munchies starting with the Say Cheese which is mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese and spinach and going all the way to Chinese Pakoras that’s got a touch of Indo-Chinese fusion to Mumbai street food favourite, the cabbage fritters. There are also a selection of chicken, mutton, pork, and seafood {fish and prawns} dishes that you could order in a larger group. Pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, and even pav bhaji make up rest. The mains, perfect to keep the hunger and alcohol in check after a long night, consist of steak, biryani, and rice.

What's On The Tap?

The brewing equipment is yet to be set up and from what we heard, they should start by early September if everything works out fine. We say, wake us up when September ends to be on the safer side. For now, patrons can enjoy IMFL and bottled beer with a selection of signature cocktails such as Pani Puri Cocktail, Mudslide, and Clover Club. They even stock up on Chandon Brut and Moet & Chandon Imperial champagnes as well, so celebratory nights could start with popping one open. Shooters for those Friday night scenes are plenty with top picks being the Jagerbomb and the Red Head Slut which is Jagermeister plus cranberry juice. For those non-alcoholic peeps in the house, there’s always Coke, Oreo Shake, and plain water.

So, We Are Thinking...

We’ll keep going back for them South Bangalore breeze. And once the craft beer is on tap, we’ll be a regular here.
