We love our bread fresh and soft, and we may have found a place that does fresh bread and then some. Brioche Doree, a French brand, which translates to golden bread in French, has opened up its first branch in Bangalore and it's on JC Road, bang opposite Jain College. The brand's red screams out to you and you can pick up the cute outdoor seating or head upstairs to the indoor seating. But before you head upstairs, stop and stare at the display counter that has all the fresh bakes of the day. Everything at Brioche Doree is baked fresh and in-house, so you're getting the real deal.
The menu features sandwiches and salads for substantial food while the display section is where you can satisfy your sweet cravings. We tried the Panini Peri Peri Chicken sandwich and we did bit into a soft, fresh bread. If we have to go technical the bread had a solid structural integrity and did not crumble at all. The chicken was spiced well and plus the whole sauce to bread to protein to veggie ratio was perfect. We wanted to try the Croissant sandwiches but we were already full. There's always a next time and we know we are going to town with the pain au chocolat, muffinoiserie, and cheesecake.
The space is also ideal for meetings and for taking quick meetings if you want a chance of space.
