Among all the places I have visited for buffet in Bangalore , loved Absolute Barbecue the most. The place is lively and an enjoyable experience in itself. You have a varied range of food to feed your taste buds.
The place is decorated mostly in calming yellow colour with beautiful portraits. The sitting space is huge but still if you are late then you have to be in queue for sometime. So my suggestion is to go early when they start their lunch and dinner. They have a mood meter placed on each table to know about your serving time preference. I found this to be very cool. The staff is friendly and professional even when they are dealing with a huge crowd.
Food :
In starters we tried their signature live barbeque of exotic veggies and paneer. Barbequed pineapple and corn were among my favourites. And if you are bored of pineapple , they even have barbequed watermelon to try. Apart from these , we had Achari Paneer Tikka , veg kababs , American cheesy potatoes and crispy corn. Among these I loved crispy corn which is never disappointing. Veg kababs too were delicious.
Then we went for their live counters. I tried white sauce pasta with extra cheese. You can customise it on your preferences. I also tried a mix of noodles and veggies selected by me and fried by them. It was great in taste.
In mains , I had tried a few things since was saving space for desserts :p My plate had kadai paneer, Dhingri kofta curry , corn palak (my favourite ) along with naan and salads. You should not miss trying corn palak. It has an amazing taste.
Finally , coming to desserts there were a lot of options to choose from. We tried Kashmiri phirni, imarti and hot gulabjamun with vanilla ice cream among Indian desserts. Apart from phirni everything was delicious. Brownie , blueberry cheesecake , fruit pastry were also an added bonus in desserts.
In beverages , you can opt for one mocktail along with buffet. We had Indian Tadka ( more like masala cold drink ) and cran cooler. Later one was delicious.
A great place for amazing food and memorable experience.
