Butter Nutter

After picking up skills in hotel management and baking from Geneva, Nikita Gulati launched Butterfingers about a year and a half ago. Running it out of a home kitchen, Gulati specialises in bespoke cakes and loves to play around with fresh flavours. Which is why she steers clear of fondant cakes altogether.

She is especially known for her edible, glitter cakes and also dishes out those trendy tall cakes {super popular on Instagram} that are all the rage right now. Gulati recommends you try her Greek Yogurt, Strawberry Cake that comes with a raspberry preserve or her Blue Velvet creation. She also makes delightful cakes with Cookie Dough and a Banana Cake with Cream Cheese. If you prefer to go the traditional route, her Apple Pies, Victoria Sponges, and Banana Loaves fly off the shelves too.

Oh Goodies!

Gulati also whips up festive hampers. She makes special ones for Diwali and Christmas but you can place orders for customised ones for weddings or if you’d like to do giveaways of your own. You can fill these with her famous butter biscuits or brownies, cake pops, and the works.

Butterfingers is located in Bellandur. But if that is too far for you, then, Gulati drops offs orders at Koramangala, Indiranagar, and MG Road. You can pick the location that suits you best. For no-fuss cakes, you can order 24 hours in advance but for the more elaborate ones, you will have to give a week’s notice at least. Prices for the cakes begin at INR 900 and the hampers usually don’t exceed INR 500.

Navya considers herself to be the Cassandra of the 21st century – no one ever listens to the wisdom that she so willingly imparts. This is the only Greek tragedy element in her otherwise happy life. She’s got her Husband Charming, has perfected the art of sarcasm, is always fed copious amounts of good food, and is well on her way to self-actualization.
