Bangalore's Car Boot Sale Is Back And Here's Why You Cannot Miss It

Following up the stellar success of the first first car boot sale in Bangalore, back in July, get ready for round two that is happening on September 8, Friday. Oh, wait, you missed the first one so you’re wondering what this is? No worries, let us break it down for you. Like the name suggests, a car boot sale is the selling of merchandise of all sorts, from the boot of your car. For all you American English speakers, we mean trunk. A flea market really, you can sell anything you may have — new, old but new, unused, slightly used but in mint condition, and what you earn is yours to keep.

If you’re just starting out as a small-scale entrepreneur, then make sure you’re here! It’s happening at ITPB, so shopaholics, set your GPS to Whitefield for tomorrow. ITPB folks, take a long lunch break, yeah?

If you have a house that looks like a museum filled with things from your great grandmother’s days or a wardrobe that is bursting at the seams, then put all of that stuff into the boot of your car and drive off to ITPB to make some moolah. Conversely, if you work at ITPB, and are up for some thrift shopping, then go, go, go. Plus, it’s a novel concept so why not check it out, either way. ITPB also has a host of food trucks lurking about any way, so more reason to make a pit stop here.

If you want to book a spot, then it’s perfect. It’s probably time for you to make some space in your home or cupboard by getting rid of some old but gold stuff. You know what they say, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure!” Shoppers, you’ll find everything from handmade soaps and toys to apparel and bags, up for grabs. We hear that there will be mostly new stuff by home entrepreneurs so go encourage them! A very European concept, many a food enterprise will also be here so this is your chance to eat, shop and repeat. Oh, Fridays, you sure know how to pamper us!
