Chaai Resto in Kalyan Nagar is a perfect stop if you want a quick bite, with a cold juice or even a hot cup of chai between work. Just pop in for a quick snack and you’ll get that boost of energy before the final work stretch!

Located in Kalyan Nagar, Chaai Resto has been open for about two months now and serves snacks including Maggi, french fries, tea, coffee and juices. It is quite a small place, with a few tables set up outside where you can stand and eat. You could also sit upstairs, where there are four tables on one level and a single table on a higher floor, which you could grab if you’re lucky. They do cake deliveries as well, so you might have to move a few boxes to walk to the top level. They also have a few snacks on a display at the counter downstairs, including namakpare and mathri.

In terms of food, they’ve got four types of Maggi, ranging from the regular to the feasty egg (INR 45), topped with an omelette. You can get a variety of poha here too, including the same omelette option as the Maggi (INR 45). They also have varie-teas, including ginger, masala and elaichi. All in all, this seems like somewhere you’d come to in the evening or for a quick meal before a restart to work. They also have boba teas and coolers, which are soon to keep you chill during a hot Bangalore day {whenever that is, to be honest}. You could even sample their selection of pizza paranthas, a fusion of India and Italy with parathas stuffed with pizza sauce and ingredients. This is what a pit-stop cafe should be and it is exactly what it is. You don’t even need to carry a lot of money with you, it is fairly cheap.
