Let's face it. We all need a Lady Whistledown (Bridgerton reference in case you're living under a rock) who would tell us EXACTLY what celebrities, influencers, founders, movers, and shakers have in their little black book. So, we took on the challenge and chatted with Bani Nanda, chef and founder at Miam Pâtisserie, Delhi. When she's not at Miam she's mostly waiting for Kamlesh to deliver her bespoke furniture to her dreamy kitchen. Or at construction sites. Her Instagram feed is straight-up inspo for all things ceramics, bakeware, cookware, tableware, and table linen. Not to mention, her At My Table series where she's had Anahita Dhondy to Nikhil Rishi Mehra of Shantanu and Nikhil fame cook a meal in her kitchen. So if you're not already following her, we recommend you do (you can't miss on her doggo Polly's adventures). And we made it extra easy for you to take inspiration from Bani, from decanters to mixing bowls, read on to find out a few of her favourite things...
A Few Of Chef Bani Nanda’s Favourite Things
Pomegranate Vase From Suite No 8
Blush pink and pretty is the perfect piece to have while setting up tables.
Lavender Pitcher From Vista Alegre
One of the few things missing from my Chippendale cabinet that Kamlesh delivered after 100 years.
Ceramic Mixing Bowls From Green Heirloom
These ones are the mixing bowls of my dreams!
Cabbage Bowl From Bordallo Pinheiro
I've done a collab with Bordallo and this is one of my favourite pieces from the collection. Love the vegetable-shaped ceramicware.
Serafina Serving Dish From Ikai Asai
I went to Larnai and learnt about black clay pottery and now I'm obsessed. The workshops I did with Ikai Asai and AM PM Fashions haven't helped much!
Steel Tong From Le Creuset
You all should buy more pastries and dessert hampers from Miam so I can actually complete my Le Creuset cast iron set. But for now, this!
Firdaus Decanter From Glass Forest
Look at that form. Just look at it.
