What’s The Ambience Like?
Don’t go here for the ambience, concentrate on the food instead. The ambience is strictly basic with plastic tables and chairs. This is a small place and can seat only about six people at one go.
Just ask for the catch of the day. Their Koonthal Roast aka the squid roast is mind blowing and so is the really spicy prawn masala. Their crab masala is excellent too. But all of Chefmaster’s seafood is subject to availability. For those who care about seafood, Chefmaster does a mean Chicken Roast too. And all of this needs to be mopped up with their fluffy appams. They also have boiled rice meals and white rice emails.
How Was My Experience?
I usually go with my band, Tangents, to eat a hearty meal here before we head to the studio for rehearsals or recordings. Then there is always dessert in the supermarket next door. Eat the cream buns or ice cream to control all that fire raging on your tongue.
