What Makes It Awesome

For a heavy dose of old world charm, unassuming luxury, and contemporary lifestyle products deeply rooted in Indian culture, head to Cinnamon near Commercial Street. Set up in a colonial bungalow built in the 1800s, the original structure and design have been retained and maintained with great care thanks to founders Abhishek and Radhika Poddar; the multi designer boutique used to be an orphanage if you could ever believe it!

When you enter, the main room opens up a couple of mini studios on the side to explore. Walk on ahead and you'll enter their cozy central courtyard with Cafe Stone that'll make you forget you're in the middle of the city. If you're not the one shopping, feel free to enjoy lunch, coffee (or breakfast if you're here early on a weekend). Around the courtyard are small rooms with brands like the Museum of Art and Photography, Aikeya and more. Curated collections from brands like 11.11, Lovebirds, Scarlet Sage, Peachoo, and more are also available.

Enjoy picking up unique curios and keepsakes without a brand tag? They have that and a variety of apparel, accessories, home decor and gifts from their inhouse labels. From artsy and delicate tea lights and napkin holders to Lego like sets depicting yoga asanas and temples, you can spend hours browsing. And right outside is Wudapple for all your garden and outdoor decor needs. Honestly, even if you don’t buy anything, the space is a treat to chill at.
