With a sprawling 18-hole golf course, state-of-the-art clubhouse, and spacious rooms, 18 & Oak is an ideal location for a weekend of staycation. Plus, a restaurant helmed by Chef Manjit of Herbs&Spice fame. Located in the sleepy village of Sevaganapalli in Hosur, the property also makes up for a nice little weekend getaway. If you enjoy playing or watching golf, and maybe want to try your hand at it, the international level golf course, Clover Greens, at 18 & Oak is at your disposal. Being a golfing destination, the main activity here is hitting the greens once you check-in. Seasoned pros can be seen taking a swing at the 18-hole course, but they do encourage noobs to give it a shot too. Trainers and your personal caddy are there to support you as you pretend to play an Augusta Masters championship.
But if golf really isn’t your thing, and you’d like to take a break at this resort anyway, there’s plenty to do. Hit the swimming pool or head straight to the spa for a massage session. If you are checking in with bae, there is a couple massage option to make your staycation more intimate. The clubhouse at Clover Greens is home to spacious deluxe and suite rooms that overlook either the swimming pool or the golf course. Make yourself cosy, order in some room service, and take a relaxing bath before heading down to the restaurant, Faireway. The restaurant opens out onto the golf course, with a pro-shop flanking it. European, Asian with a separate menu for Korean, and Indian cuisines are on offer. And while they don’t serve alcohol, you are more than welcome to bring your own. The menu does have Chef Manjit’s signatures if you remember the blackboard menu of the original Herbs & Spice.
