Cocktails With A View: Guide To Bangalore’s Best Bars!
The 13th Floor
One of the places that offers the best bird-eye view of the city, The 13th Floor is one of our favourite dive bars for catching a sunset with a cocktail in hand, and unwinding after a long day at work. The delicate, and glass-clad interiors of the bar offers people an unobstructed view of the city and the star-studded sky, going best with some great bar selections, and dinner platters. You’ve got to try their fusion martinis like Malabar Martini, sangrias and food items like Andhra Chilli Chicken Tikka & Wasabi Mushrooms.

Three Dots & A Dash
Priding itself on being the first tiki cocktail bar in the city, this place transports you to the beaches of Hawaii. The entire vibe of the place is very tropical, breezy and fun. Do try out their signature cocktails, Tiki Tower & Pineapple Paradise that are served with some serious smoke oozing out of the glass, and it honestly tastes as good as it looks. Pair it up with Konjee Lamb and Coconut Chicken and you’re sorted!

Pebble
For a more rustic vibe, opt for this open-air jungle themed bar & cafe, Pebble. This place is quite LIT during the weekends, and is perfect when you want to let loose, and want to spend the night dancing, relishing the great food and drinks options that they have. Spend some time in sync with nature, dine under the big banyan tree, and experience the world-class hospitality that this place has to offer. You’ve got to try their wood-fired pizzas and their cocktails- Lizhi Affair made with Gordon’s Gin, and Enter The Dragon, made with Johnnie Walker Black Label, they’re too good to miss out on!

Spot 360, Hilton
Located on the 12th floor at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Spot 360 is a great poolside bar that offers yummy cocktails with an extravagant view of the city. Hop here for a classic sundowner, lie down on one of the cocoon beds beside the pool that are honestly so cozy and good you won’t feel like getting out. Besides, they do have private canopies setup for a larger group setting. Opt for either of these, let the cocktails and conversations flow freely, and trust us you won’t be disappointed. Their Makhani Fondue Bowl, which is a deconstructed spin-off of classic dal makhni, and their cocktails Coconut Rose Drop made with Smirnoff vodka, and Earl Gray Tea Gin (an exotic green tea gin infusion) are absolute must-tries.

The Bier Library
One of the most popular restaurants in the city, The Bier Library certainly does live up to its reputation. Tall ceilings, open spaces and delicious food, yep that’s only a part of the extravagant ‘The Bier Library’ affair. Try out their Beer samplers (obviously!), but also don’t forget to check out their fusion cocktails as well- we absolutely loved Frothytales and Black Magic. Sunday barbeques, post-work hangout with colleagues, impressing your date with a fun culinary experience, or even spending some time alone, this place is perfect for all moods from morning to evening!

Pro-Tip:
Sanitisers and masks have become the new norm, and we’re happy to see restaurants and bars taking care of all the covid protocols set in place. In case you missed out, Diageo Bar Academy is #RaisingTheBar once again by providing our favourite bars with aid and support to make sure these outlets have all the necessary safety precautions. This global initiative includes equipping the outlets with sanitisation machines, IR thermometers, masks and gloves for the staff and training sessions for the bartenders/employees to help them welcome back customers safely. Check out the best resto bars we think you should head to.
