Get ready for your caffeine kick as the Coffee Santhe is back in town for its fourth edition. The festival will celebrate all things coffee and showcase all kinds — beans, roasted and ground, sourced from different parts of the country. Organised by the Women’s Coffee Alliance India {WCAI} that works towards helping women in the coffee trade create a sustainable livelihood, the santhe will happen this weekend at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.

If you love your morning cuppa, you owe it to yourself to pay homage to the humble coffee bean to cup journey. The festival will throw light on the folks and processes behind your favourite brew. What’s more, explore coffee in all its glory by trying out different strains, blends and many other coffee-based products. The organisers will even guide you to pair it with the foods that work best with the coffee flavours. You’ll also get to meet members of the International Women’s Coffee Alliance {IWCA} who will be sharing their knowledge and experiences with coffee too.
Why Should I Go For It?
Because this will be like no other caffeine kick you’ve ever experienced before. Apart from all the coffee and bites you’ll be downing, you’ll be schooled on the many processes and practices of the coffee industry that’ll make you a hit at all the tea parties and brunches to come. And there’s going to be an epic barista stand-off where the best female baristas will be competing against each other for the Brewmaster Championship where the top prize is training under the best coffee specialists in the world. The proceeds will go towards uplifting women in coffee industry of the country so it’s all for a good cause too.
