What Makes It Awesome

Times are changing when it comes to fashion and if you are someone who likes to own some classic, timeless pieces of clothing rather than worrying about the season’s trends, then you are in for a treat. Check out Cord, an indie fashion label that is breaking the seasonal fashion norms and creating clothing that lasts forever. With gorgeous stores in Khan Market, Delhi; Pali Hill and Kala Ghoda, Mumbai; these folks have an online website too.

Co-founded by Pranav Gulgani and Neha Singh in 2015, Cord is all about making vintage clothing cool again. They create outfits that are timeless, comfortable, versatile, and functional. We are talking about oversized printed shirts, classic button-down dresses, tailored trousers, and pintuck skirts among others. The Ayre Top with a landscape print made out of soft poplin cotton is one of the favourites along with Tokyo Dress in green which is a fit and flare classic dress.

Their bottoms are a treat to own as well. Find well-fitted trousers, overlap pants, suspender skirts, and pintuck skirts that would be in fashion forever. Check out their co-ord sets to make a subtle yet strong fashion statement. The Dale Set with a crop top, trousers, and a jacket works well for you to juggle between board rooms and even dinner parties. Find suspender jumpsuits, Ni Jumpsuit which is an oversized jumpsuit, and the Karen Jumpsuit which looks like a blazer dress but with pants (functional and cool, ain’t it?). They also specialise in making bags crafted out of leather and canvas such as roll-up clutches, laptop sleeves, sling bags, and totes as well.

Their rad winter collection is all about extremely cool Bomber Jackets (starting at INR 6,800) for men and women, vintage-inspired Moss Jackets, over-sized and printed Blazers, chic trench-coats (we're in love with these) and elegant accessories. Get winter-ready, already?

Pro-Tip

The prices are slightly on the higher side but worth investing in if you are looking for a timeless wardrobe.
