#LBBPicks: Coworking Spots In Indiranagar When You Want To Skip The Cafes

Sure you only think of hitting up Indiranagar for a night out or some fancy food, but some of us also work here, OK. In fact, it is quite popular as a location to set up office in {inspite of traffic and parking woes}. But what if you’re a startup team or a freelancer in search of a quiet workspace to escape the noise of cafes? While it might not be a startup hub like its neighbouring Koramangala, Indiranagar has its share of co-working spaces. From flexible desk options to customised cabins, high speed Wi-Fi to networking opportunities, these hotspots will sort you out.

LBB’s Loving

BHive Workspace

Readers’ Vote

BHive Workspace

Inspiring and fun quotes in bright colours on the walls {mostly Steve Jobs}, work desks, cabins and plenty of free spaces to pick from, a kitchen and a rooftop community event space — there’s quite a lot of reasons why BHive remains a popular option. In fact, the LBB Crew called it home for a few months. And while we did love the homely atmosphere, our favourite aspect — Pablo, the in-house dog, who is always up for some petting and playing around.

Described as “Uber for Co-working”, Awfis currently has centres in 14 cities across the country with workspaces in six areas in Bangalore. Done up with simple, industrial decor, their Indiranagar centre has over 62 workstations with private offices, fixed and flexible desks, and meeting rooms. The best part? They have a ‘just in time’ model that doesn’t require you to book in advance. So for all you last-minute folks, no need to stress.

If you’re an up and coming startup looking for a feasible workspace minus the hassle of administrative issues, look no further. Suited more to freelancers and smaller teams, it’s a cosy space tucked away in a quiet lane off 100 Feet Road. Whether you’re looking for day passes, flexible workstations or a private cabin, they have it all. With a spot of greenery and a splash of colours to add a fun vibe, they’ve recently opened up their ground floor as well.

Co-Working Spaces

Veering away from being just another co-working spot, Incubex hopes to create a supportive ecosystem for the community of startups and entrepreneurs in the city. While offering plug-and-play workstations and necessary facilities, it’s not just a workspace. You’re encouraged to connect and then even help out other ventures and fellow entrepreneurs. Who said it’s a big bad world only?

Co-Working Spaces

Ixora CoWork

The folks at Ixora CoWork go that extra mile to make sure their office spaces give you a dose of motivation to start your day. So, workstations here come with an inspirational quote or graphic {which can be customised as well}. Apart from cabins and co-work zones, they have team zones which can also be used as conference rooms. Want to get together for a more informal meeting, or just unwind with a cuppa? They have a cafeteria to keep it official but casual.

Office Spa.ces

Offering desks by the hour, shared workspaces and cabins customised to your preference, Office Spa.ces has a no-frills setup where you can work without distractions. Apart from the Wi-Fi connectivity, the other services like the use of printers and scanners, ticket bookings and freshly made tea and coffee, come for an additional amount.

Hustle Cowork

All set to open in a month or so, what is likely to set Hustle apart is probably be their specialised facilities. For instance, they have a package for people working in international night processes. Along with free coffee to keep you going through the night and internet connectivity, the rates are also accordingly customised. Focusing on women entrepreneurs, they’ll have women-oriented mentoring and events to help with networking. They even offer to help with day care facilities, we’re told. But freelancers and startups are welcome too, we hear.
