If you crochet reminds you of old ladies and antiquated decor ideas, we would like to humbly break that illusion and introduce you to Crochet and Colours by Chanjeev Kaur. From crop tops to clocks, she can stitch up a storm with her tools and threads.
Using high quality organic cotton (among others), and incorporating a technique that provides a bit of stretch to the weave, the products are versatile as they are pretty. Pursuing the art from the tender age of eight, Chanjeev makes usual suspects like doilies (INR 500 upwards), tea (and mug) cozies, cushion covers, rugs (INR 1,500 upwards) and throws (INR 14,000 upwards). What about clothes you ask? Long (INR 4,500) and short shrugs (INR 2,500) and jackets, crop tops, and even saree blouses! Staring at INR 2,500, they’re unlined (crochet and cheeky - we like it!), and the final prices of these depend on the design and threads used. Available in small, medium, and large, we’re told that nobody has complained about sizing issues, so it’s already better than the local tailor!
Wallets, bags, table runners and mats, and even clocks with crocheted frames are available! Dog parents with delicate tastes, she makes collars, doggy blankets and leashes, and can match them all! In fact, you can match any of the orders. Get in touch with her on LBB to place an order.
