Baking us crazy, quite literally is Home Baker, Sumaiya's Instagram page, Sweetfix. The mesmerising artistry caught our attention but soon, the eyes gave away to the palate (we blame the delicious flavour descriptions) and we couldn't stop drooling!
Think of Sweetfix when you want to order in treats for a birthday, anniversary or for when you'd simply like to please your sweet tooth. On the standard menu, find Fudgy Walnut Brownies loaded with chocolate, and a Banana Walnut Loaf that we think will be our new favourite tea-time accompaniment. How can there exist dessert menu with no cupcakes or cheesecake (not rhetorical )? That's right, Sumaiya also whips up some wicked good cupcakes -- vanilla with smooth purple hued buttercream frosting and chocolate with chocolate frosting -- two signatures. The cheesecake usually arrives in cute single serve shots and in flavours of Blueberry and Caramel Praline.
If you're looking for themed cakes for occasions, Sweetfix will fix you up good. What we enjoy is the fact all cakes are buttercream frosted and uses fondant only for accents or designs. The Chocolate Hazelnut, a chocolate or vanilla sponge filled with chocolate ganache and chocolate Hazelnut Swiss meringue buttercream, we hear is the most requested flavour. There's also Very Vanilla, Berry Delight and Salted Caramel Indulgence.
Prices for cupcakes and brownies start at INR 60 while theme cakes start at INR 1,500 upwards. You can personally pick up your order or have it Dunzo or cab delivered.
