With Dasara having started, it’s time to dive into the festive season headlong. One of the most important elements of the festival  in Karnataka is the Dasara dolls. Stock up on them from places on this list. Whether it’s animals or even themed dolls like Chhota Bheem, check out these spots for some adorable dolls and home decor as well.

Raga Arts

It’s hard to miss Raga Arts on 11th Main, Jayanagar. With the Dasara Doll options displayed till the main road, brightly lit, and a range of options, you’re definitely going to find something there. With options starting at INR 200, whether you’re looking to add to your pastoral display, or one of those bobble head style dancer figures, they have it across budgets. Feel free to go into the store and pick up other traditional trinkets, home accents and gifting options for the upcoming festive season. Sree Lakshmi Venkateshwara Enterprises

An underground store in Basavanagudi, this store stocks up on Channatapatna toys which make for a great addition to your assortment. From wooden elephants, figurines and even objects like aeroplanes, you’ll find a variety of dolls here and at affordable prices too. Pickle jars, diyas and bangles are available here as well. NL Dasara Dolls

Located in a basement in Jayanagar 4th Block, they’re open all year round, but their best collection is available from September for Dasara. Sourcing their dolls from across South India, you’ll find many different styles of Dolls in a range of sizes. In fact, they even have the occasional Durga and Ganesha, available prior to Dasara. If there’s something in particular you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to them a few months in advance and they’ll try to source it for you. NL Dasara Dolls is now open to customer visits between 10:30 am and 8:30 pm.

Varnam

Having Varnam on this list shouldn’t surprise you as Chanapatna dolls feature heavily in most gombe displays. Varnam should be your go to as their quality is unmatched, the artisans are fairly compensated for their work, and we’ve seen some cute and quirky options (many of which are Dasara themed and work great as accents for home for the rest of the year.

Tarang

Tarang Arts in Jayanagar is a great spot to pick up decorative dolls (especially during the Dasara festival). Figurines of musicians holding instruments, parrot dolls and even Buddha on a lotus are some dolls that you can source from here. They even have jewellery to adorn idols in the puja room. 

Uru India

Uru India in RMV 2nd Stage is a store that sells home decor and kitchenware that reflects the colourful Indian vibe that we all love. The dolls here are for home decor purposes but would make a fun addition to your doll collection during the puja time.
