What interests us though is the quality control in practice. Since these products are handmade in very small batches every ingredient is sourced with great care and hand mixed into different bases before being patch tested. So what you get in a bottle is basically a product so fresh and natural, you may want to eat it!
Dattila has a varied range and like promised these take inspiration from family owned traditional recipes including consultations and tips from skin care experts across Tamil Nadu and Kerala (mix of edible ingredients and essential oils). The thick, Flaxseed, Hibiscus and Bakuchi Oil Hair Mask and Rose & Coconut Water Skin Care kit (exfoliator, cleanser, toner, night cream) are by far the most well-received.
They've also got acne related skincare, body polishes, hair oil and shampoos. There are no added fragrances (what you smell will either be herbal or nostalgic) and no preservatives.
