What Makes It Awesome

If you're walking down St. Mark's Road and happen to spot a bright eatery that's as pretty as a picture, you're probably in front of Delistic. A labour of love by Chef Vandana Konidala, Chef Mukesh Rawat and Varsha Konidala, their speciality is French pastries. These include entremets, petit gateau (single portions), swiss rolls, bonbons, panned chocolates and breakfast pastries. The space itself feels very Parisian with warm lighting, pastel hues and gilded finishes - this is a great spot for a date.

The dessert counter features sweet treats that look like they're all works of art - from their picture-perfect (and moist) Swiss rolls to their colourful mirror glaze pastries and cakes. While they have chocolate options, Delistic throws the spotlight on more colourful classics. The Purple Daze is a Blueberry sponge with blueberry cream cheese, strawberry jelly and topped with vanilla chantilly, and catches the eye with its bright purple. The Alba is a unique, yet well-balanced combination of Almond sponge, tender coconut jelly, poached pineapple and mango mousse on an almond base. While these are great to go, those of you looking to dine in must try their macaroons, tea cakes and Madelines.

Don't have a sweet tooth? Their savoury bakes, burgers and sandwiches are hearty and also totally ‘grammable. Down it with one of their various flavours of tea or a hot coffee. Before you leave pick up a box of their bonbons or paned chocolate to enjoy before your next visit.

Pro-Tip

For a real treat, order their high tea (enough for 2) that comes with bite sized savoury bakes, desserts, chocolates and two cups of tea of choice. The high tea is available in non-vegetarian and vegetarian (with and without egg) options.
