A new bee "Desi Biryani" in Jayanagar 4th block next to Amma's pastries.
Their lunch menu keeps changing every day but breakfast menu remains the same. Tried few items on the menu which made me go wow.
*Red rice idli with chicken gravy- healthy breakfast with spicy curry makes you drool over it.
* Red rice Dosae with mutton kheema and chicken fry- the best breakfast to start your day. Mutton kheema flavour is on point. Goes well with Dosae. It's the recommended dish here.
* Donne chicken biriyani- served with kurma gravy and raitha. Flavours blend so well with the rice and the chicken. Cooked to perfection.
* Donne mutton biriyani- loved this more than chicken biriyani. Loved the mutton here. Gives a different flavour altogether.
* Kaal soup- kicks you right in the throat with the pepper and green chilly.
* Naati chicken palav- available only on sunday. Locally sourced chicken and pulav is mildly spiced. The chicken korma gravy is the best compliment for this.
* Masala soda and lime soda- perfect end after the best meal.
Close to two years of experiments with the recipe and packaging makes this place so unique.
Every ingredient is sourced from the owner's farmhouse. All the plates, banana leaf and leftovers will be taken back to their farm to make manure.
The packaging is the most unique. It is spill-proof, completely bio degradable, no dampness with water molecules. The packaging is made with corn starch and even if it is thrown and eaten by a cow it's completely safe as well.
The owner has combined science and technology in the most unique way and have taken the packaging into another level.
