Unlimited dim sums are the stuff our dreams are made of. The restaurant Zen at The Leela Palace has introduced a Dimsum Lunch for fans of these little dumplings, a full three-course meal, with an endless supply of dim sums.

You Dim Sum You Win Some

The Dimsum Lunch at Zen at The Leela Palace Bangalore is made for those who don’t mind popping in dim sums by the dozen at one go. The lunch is a three-course meal, with all the dim sums you can eat served as part of it. Offering a  big selection of dim sums, you can tuck into everything from Fried Almond Prawn Dim Sum {with a BBQ sauce} to juicy Pan Fried Chicken Shanghai dumplings.

Vegetarians don’t miss out on the action either as their Crystal Dumplings, with a vegetable filling comes in an opaque casing, and makes for an interesting bite and their Pumpkin and Pine Nut Dumpling has a nice sweet taste to it. Their other options like the Lamb Sui Mai, and the Fried Sweet Potato Dumpling were winners too.  Make the most of the unlimited offer and don’t forget to ask for seconds {and thirds}.

An Oriental Feast

If you are thinking dim sums were the only thing at this lunch, there is hope yet. You can pick between their Vegetable Manchow Soup with crispy noodles or their Oriental Salad with an avocado tartare. We went with the latter, a wholesome salad with a tart dressing, and it came with a side of avocado tartare that the millennial populace is sure to enjoy.

Moving on to the mains, choose from Thai green, yellow or red curry with either veggies, chicken or prawn to be served to you with jasmine rice. The curry was flavourful and together with the rice, made for a filling meal. Make sure to save some room for their Wok Fried Garlic flavoured greens too. Finish it all off with dessert. We gorged on a sinful serving of Hazelnut Salted Caramel that comes with coconut ice cream and tuile {a kind of baked wafer} and orange marmalade. And yes! It tastes just as good as it sounds and the portions were more than satisfying.

The lunch is priced at INR 1,200, which we think is a bargain considering the extensive menu.
