Bengaluru’s premier German Christmas Market, the NürnbergMesse Christkindlesmarkt returns for its second edition and is all set to bring a slice of the classic German Christmas magic to the city from 6 to 7 November 2025 at Marakata, Chamara Vajra.
A German Christmas isn’t complete without its signature indulgences. The scent of freshly baked pretzels, sizzling bratwurst and rich coffee greets you long before you reach the food stalls. Not just that, there’s plenty of local favourites and global bites in the mix, making the food scene a bustling corner perfect for families, food lovers and festive explorers alike.
But it’s not all about the food. The market invites you into a world of beautiful crafts. As you stroll through, you’ll find stalls lined with beautiful Christmas ornaments, home décor, lifestyle finds, kids’ and adults’ apparel, candles, wooden toys and handcrafted pieces that make for warm holiday presents. Every stall has its own charm and story, a lovely blend of German festive tradition, Indian craftsmanship and global design sensibilities.
Every step through the market is festive. There’s live music, carols that lift the mood, a bustling Kinderecke buzzing with kids’ activities and a charming carousel spinning in full holiday spirit. You’ll also spot live caricature artists, dreamy photo booths, and eye-catching festive installations, including a handcrafted, sustainable Christmas tree that adds to the holiday charm.
And yes, it doesn’t end there because Christmas is incomplete without its miracles. In partnership with Lufthansa, the market hosts a daily lucky draw offering visitors the chance to win a round-trip ticket to Munich. One winner will be announced each day, so your magical Christmas moment might just come with a boarding pass.
