Art is all around you - all you need is the eye to spot it and the skill to create it if you don't! And this fun Saturday morning workshop with Felt ki Dukan will focus on how you can create art out of waste. That's right! Mahak, the founder of this cool Instagram store, makes lovely and lively and super-duper cute brooches, latkans for dresses, keychains, bows for the headbands and more out of felt (read more here). In this 45-minute to 1 hour workshop, she will teach how you can do the same but with excess fabric and material that you can easily source at home. You can utilise old sarees, old clothes or patches of embroidered fabric.
By the end of this fun and interactive art-filled session you will have learned how to make beautiful accessories that double as great handmade gifts, FYI, and also learn some stitching techniques to practice and master. Not to forget, all that waste fabric that you thought had no use will be turned into something beautiful! Oh and this is an absolutely FREE event. Register now to learn a new skill, upcycle waste and create something functional and pretty, all at once. This workshop will be held via Zoom on January 15, Saturday at 11AM.
