Chickpet no doubt is laden with mom and pop stores and we chanced upon one that packs away piles of dress materials from across the spectrum. So, if you’re a bride looking to ramp up your trousseau, or looking for occasion wear or simple dress materials, walk into Milan Fashions. Locating the spot can be a bit of a hassle, but get on to Chickpet Main Road and find Hanuman Building (sort of like an old shopping complex) opposite Kuberan Silks (you can also use maps) and you will find Milan Fashions on the ground at the far end.
Get in, get comfy on their mattress lined floors and pick to see whatever catches your fancy. We were especially drawn to their chikankari pieces, some of them were super intricate and came in multicoloured patterns.
