Drop The Needle: It's All About Vinyl At This Meetup For Record Lovers

The information in this post might be outdated

What Is It?

Drop The Needle, a monthly meetup series for vinyl enthusiasts and collectors in the city, is back with its third edition. If listening to records and meeting fellow vinyl lovers sounds like a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon, this is where we'd suggest you head to. Also, do make sure you sign up to get your favourite record played!

Who Is It For?

From vinyl buffs to music lovers, this is for just about anyone who is looking for a fun {and laidback} time. Not too familiar with records? Or perhaps, you've always wanted to buy some? Well, this is bound to be a perfect opportunity to learn a bit about them, and even own some! After all vinyl is back in style. Bring back the gramphones, folks.

Why Should I Go For It?

The thought of sitting back and enjoying some great music is enough to get us going. But, if we need more reasons to convince you, there's going to be a community table with a collection of records, courtesy The Revolver Club {a vinyl subscription service}. Apart from scoring a few, you can even sell or trade records. Hosted by city-based vinyl enthusiast and DJ {known to play mostly on turntables}, Prashanth Pallemoni, the event will end with a scratch workshop and a short set by him.
