This weekend, take the little ones in your life to the Dum Duma Duma Festival in Atta Gallatta. The festival seeks to bring together two beautiful things in a child's life, drama and reading. On Saturday, December 7, there are three plays to enjoy, the first being Water Stories (this one involves origami puppets). There's also A Dinosaur Named Nirmala and The Greatest Fairytale Ever. On Sunday, December 8, let your kids participate in Kootu, a non-verbal play that uses objects, rhythm and sound to tell a simple story. There's also Yaksha and (our favourite) Tsuinn Tapak, a performance with blasts of 'magic.'
