Sundays are for Mutton Biryani. Everyone knows that. So, if you’re craving some good old biryani to sort out your weekend, just go to Fattoush in BTM Layout. While the restaurant is located right opposite a major traffic junction, you don’t have to worry about the noise entering inside. It’s relatively peaceful (you’ll forget about the traffic in a jiffy) and the ambience is pleasant.
Flip open Fattoush’s menu and you’ll find everything from Chinese and Mughlai to seafood and North Indian cuisines. For starters, we’d suggest you try their Grill Chicken (they have these in both plain and BBQ sauce options - we’d recommend the latter!) or Tandoori Chicken. Bear in mind, though, that they have substantial portion sizes, so if you have a small appetite, order wisely! Vegetarians, no need to feel left out: order their Crispy Chilli Potatoes, and we guarantee it’ll just hit the spot.
For mains, don’t even think about it - just go for their biryanis blindly. In case you’re feeling like gravy and roti, their Paneer Tikka and Mutton Rogan Josh can’t be missed. The restaurant is open from 12 PM to about 1:40 AM all days of the week (except on Mondays, where it closes at 12 AM), so if you need to binge on some good old biryani after your Friday night drinks sesh, this is the place to be!
