This Jayanagar Health Cafe Is Now In Koramangala With Kombucha Shots & A Gorgeous Space

Shortcut

Enerjuvate is now in Koramangala with a new cafe and boutique space. The space is done up with quirky accents and plenty of DIY decor hacks. Plus, there is their extensive vegetarian and vegan menu with loads of snacks and drinks.

Major Decor Goals

The new Enerjuvate is located where the bakery and cafe Muffets and Tuffets used to be, just beside the BDA complex. The whole place gets a splash of colours — teal, yellow, and green mainly — that instantly begs to be on your Instagram feed. Alfresco seating over indoor seating is what we would recommend, especially during evenings when the whole place is brightly lit up. Darshana Nahata, the co-founder, who’s a graphic designer by profession has done up the space quite beautifully, giving us major goals.

The highlight of this DIY decor set up is the collection of mason jar light fixtures she’s hung inside. It’s quite simple to make, she tells us. All you need are coloured mason jars that you can pick from any crockery store {you could check out this Thippasandra store}, get a few 5W bulbs, and wire it up. Other decor pieces that caught our fancy were the pretty box planters made out of wooden framed boxes and stuffed with fabric flowers, the framed mirrors, and a little feedback board that she got made at a local carpentry store.

Let's Talk About Food

Coming to the food, it’s the same menu from Enerjuvate, Jayanagar, but this time we started off with a bunch of their fresh juices such as the Go Green {mint, amla and spinach}, Go Red {beet, basil, orange, apple} and Carrot Ginger ale {carrot infused with mint and ginger}. While these juices were fresh and without sugar, it is the fizzy and intense kombucha we are recommending. Available in apple cinnamon {our favourite}, pineapple mint, and hibiscus, make sure you take away a couple of bottles home. We even Dunzoed some the next day. A shot of this fermented drink daily is apparently good for the gut.

The Crispy Veg pizza, which we tried, came on a delicious, crunchy amaranth base and was topped with loads of onions, capsicums, green chillies, olives and cheese and came together with a nice marinara sauce. The Orange Chilli Tofu with Ragi Noodle Pad Thai was a bit bland and underwhelming, but the jowar gnocchi tossed in a lovely cheesy sauce with nuts and veggies was a hit with us. We tried the momo platter too but it paled in comparison to the wonderful baked sweet potato wedges served with garlicky beetroot hummus. These are our new favourite potato wedges {those are also available baked}. While the chocolate peanut ganache jar was set too hard and was tough to dig into, the Blueberry Cheesecake Jar was lovely with an oats crust, coconut milk layer and topped with a fresh blueberry compote. No added sugar guys.

So, We're Thinking...

The cafe is really pretty and relaxing to work out of. Plus, there’s free WiFi too. You can also attend a bunch of their classes, workshops and yoga sessions in case you are looking to do something in Koramangala. And their food and drinks menu is full of healthy food that isn’t lacking in taste either.
