Eat And Puff Away At Entropy, The Newest Hookah Spot In Town

On the breezy first floor of Koramangala’s bustling Eat Street, Entropy offers innovative hookah combinations with a selection of the best food from the stalls downstairs.

Started as a late-night idea by four friends, Entropy puts a new spin on the hookah bar. The founders – Toku {Tejeshwar}, Pradyoth, Abhishek and Koushik – have personally painted, hammered, and installed most of the decor, including the warm mesh lights that hang from the ceiling and metal pipes snaking along the wall, giving the cafe a comfortable and unassuming vibe.

Pick from unique house blends of hookah flavours with a variety of bases {think 7UP, Red Bull, and milk}. We loved the Xon The Beach, and Orange Rasna Mint. Though the flavour could have been stronger, the real crowd puller was the shisha itself which came in a smoke pot – a bowl containing water and dry ice that poured out dense curls of white fog – with an ice pipe. Some of the hookahs are made to look like formidable guns {why we wonder?}.

Pretty much everything on the food menu is worth a shot. Entropy makes a smart move by tying up with six of the best food places downstairs on Eat Street, so you can pick from a menu that has freshly baked pizzas, hot dogs, and fro-yo and have it delivered to your table in a flash. Don’t forget to order the veg biryani here. It is surprisingly delicious, and comes with two raitas and not one {but it still might not be enough}. On popular demand, they’ve also introduced a drinks menu full of smoothies and fresh fruit juices. Head to Entropy over the weekend with friends to chill with your chillum and catch a game of cricket on the big screen!
