This year, their grantees include: Akramul Hijra, a self-taught artist, researcher, and curator who is dedicated to exploring various art forms in order to advocate for the rights of Bangladesh's queer community; Rajiv Bera, a writer, chef, and social justice lawyer who weaves images, words, and food together to nurture and affirm marginalised identities; and Sidhanth Ashok, also known as Inner Rhymes, a well-known non-binary rapper and co-founder of Bangalore's Wanandaf Hip-Hop movement along with Soumya Mishra, a young neuroqueer development professional who uses digital mediums to amplify the voices of marginalised communities, particularly focusing on the stories of queer-disabled individuals through their podcast, 'Atypical Dikkatein', are coming together to represent the festival's dedication to encouraging inclusive and thought-provoking conversations surrounding gender through their varied and profound artistic contributions.
